I’m Keith and welcome to our new site.  You may have visited other sites run by us but I’ve decided to consolidate information and reviews on motorcycle gear and accessories and roll it into one site.

We’ll be addingKeith Jones information about helmets, jackets, boots as well as reviews on accessories that you may find worthwhile. The gear that is being reviewed here will be, in our opinion, fit for purpose and should give you a lot of satisfaction over many years of usage.  We will not be reviewing low-end priced motorcycle gear. You know the stuff, the $49.00 helmet.  We’ve spent decades riding motorcycles, so we’d like to think we can make some sort of judgement call as to what works and what doesn’t.

If you wish to look further into any product we review with the intention of perhaps purchasing it, we will provide links to sellers who we believe have superior customer service reputations.  This is in terms of their refund policies, range of products, price, shipping costs and warranties. An American documentary feature about the sport of motorcycle riding directed by Bruce Brown and staring Steve McQueen, along with Mert Lawwill and Malcolm Smith and a handful of 1960s and 1970s motorcycle racers. Brown showed the unique talents needed for different forms of racing. Brown pioneered the helmet cam. McQueen partially financed the documentary. Its a classic feel good documentary following the lives of motorcycle racers and enthusiasts asking “Why do they do it?” The soundtrack is “groovy!” being made in the late ’60s/early ’70s. If you’ve ever wanted to go for a ride on a bike without leaving the comfort of your living room watch this movie.

The Gold Coast Motorcycle Expo is growing to be one of the betterVictory Motorcycles motorcycle shows around Australia, and is held at the Broadbeach Exhibition Centre. This year the show ran from the 17th February to 19th February and featured motorcycles, scooters, some motorcycle gear and personal watercraft, or jet-skis.

All the major motorcycle manufacturers showcased their latest and greatest, which is what these shows are all about. There were a few concept motorcycles and some interesting custom machines.
